Corinthians 9:6-7 (NIV)
Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

All of the money in the world belongs to God; we are merely stewards of the money that is in our possession. By tithing, we return to God that which was already his in the first place. When we are moved to give more, we bring glory to Him. Do we give with a joyful heart? Are we generous with the blessings bestowed on us?
