GOD & SANDALS
Philippians 1:27-29 (NIV)
Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in one spirit, contending as one man for the faith of the gospel without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. This is a sign to them that they will be destroyed, but that you will be saved — and that by God.
Sandals are comfortable … and while it’s certainly nice to be comfortable, do you find yourself too comfortable with your Christian life? Could you be doing more for Christ? Sometimes it’s easy to get comfortable with what you’re doing and not really do all that you have the potential and ability to do. Take hold of life, and live it the way God intended. Don’t be satisfied with being a mediocre Christian, but remember for Whom you are living!
